MURRAY PRINT DIVISION

Our company, originally named The Art Novelty Company, was started in the early 1900's in Strathroy, ON. Alfred B. Dobbyn purchased the company in approximately 1922 and moved the business to a small shop on Wortley Road in London, experiencing small annual growth printing calendars. By 1946, they had out grown their shop on Wortley Road and built one of old south's favorite landmark buildings at 16 Wellington Road S. Years later, the company would be renamed Dobbyn Creative Printing and become a well respected commercial print shop. In late 2002, Murray Prepress Ltd. purchased the company, bringing with them 4 generations of printing industry experience. (Chris Murray is the great grandson of F.W. Sutherland, founder of The Sutherland Press Limited [St.Thomas, ON]) To lead us into the future, we changed our name to Murray Print Division. Our new look and fresh ideas will make us ready for the 21st century of printing and separate us from others in the industry.

We are extremely proud of our past and even more excited about our future. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us.
